We know, you want to visit Thailand- So here’s a good news for you

Thailand is preparing for a return to normalcy after months of stringent travel restrictions due to the Covid-19 outbreak, by reducing some travel restrictions and quarantine standards and allowing ordinary tourists to enter the country. Sandbox initiatives have been implemented by the government, allowing vaccinated travellers to enter the nation without quarantined.

Raise your hand if you have been looking forward to visiting Thailand, your favorite nation. If yes, there is some wonderful news for you! Under the sandbox programme, fully vaccinated travellers from all over the world can now visit Phuket without being quarantined. The Thai Tourist Authority said that visitors will be able to stay in Bangkok and four other provinces without subject to two-week hotel quarantine. Thailand’s sandbox model will be implemented in provinces such as Chiang Mai, Chon Buri, Phetchaburi, and Prachuap Khiri Khan. Tourists will stay in a specific area for seven days after arriving and will be subjected to Covid tests.

Rules for Indians

The “Phuket Sandbox” initiative caters to Indian tourists. Indians, on the other hand, are not included in the list of tourists who are not subject to quarantine. As a result, Indian visitors will still be required to undergo quarantine upon arrival in Thailand and stay in an accredited hotel for at least 7 nights before travelling to other cities and provinces.

Unvaccinated travellers entering Thailand by air will be required to stay in a designated hotel in Bangkok for at least 10 days under the “sandbox” programme, according to a statement from the Thailand Embassy. Unvaccinated children, including their parents, will be required to stay for 10 days regardless of vaccination status.

What about fully-vaccinated travellers?

After spending 14 days in the first two island destinations, tourists will be free to travel and experience other parts of Thailand. According to Thailand’s Phuket Sandbox reopening programme, properly vaccinated overseas travellers will be allowed to access the island without being subjected to quarantine, but will be required to stay in Phuket for 14 nights before travelling elsewhere in Thailand.

What will you get to see when you are in Thailand?

Islands that is picture-perfect. Golden sands and waving palm trees, temples with ornate carvings, and verdant tress to attract you. Thailand has always been the go-to spot for those looking for a low-key, easy-on the eyes, topical getaway too.

Thailand’s capital is a fast-paced, bustling metropolis with a population of over eight million people. Bangkok is an excellent entrance to the country’s best temples and palaces, and is known for its cosmopolitan vibe and active street life. While it’s easy to forget when wandering amid Bangkok’s skyscrapers, the city’s heart lies on the water, with several canals connecting districts and the bustling Chao Phraya River, which you can visit via long-tail boat excursion.

  • Pattaya Floating Market

Visiting this market, one of Thailand’s top tourist destinations, is one of the greatest ways to receive a real Thai slice of life experience. You’ll be able to witness how people used to shop in the past. In small boats, locals dressed in traditional clothing and caps sell the freshest vegetables.

You can take a lengthy tail boat trip around the market and pick up fruits, herbs, incense, flowers, and other items from the Central, North East, South, and North areas. Aside from shopping, you may watch local craftsmen make products, learn about sericulture, receive herbal Thai massage, and have your picture taken wearing a Thai attire, among other things.
